smacking the floor

Rigby is moving more every day. daily she spends quite a bit of time on the tummy mat playing with toys. she can not officially crawl yet, but she can get on all fours and lean, land on her tummy, then up on all fours. it is slow but effective and she gets there eventually. now it appears that the mad dash is for the wood floor. she is always breaking away from the tummy mat, and off the rug, to the wood floor and when she gets there she has to stop lay on her tummy and smack the floor. daddy and i guess because it makes a different sound so she likes the noise. but that is only keeping her content for a short time period then she is off raising to the walker/bouncy chair. the best is when you ask her "where she is going?" she just looks up at you and smiles, like a smile is getting her out of being caught red-handed making a break for it. ha ha. so very cute!!!!
