b-a-n-a-n-a-s

well we tried bananas this morning. i was sitting on the floor with my morning sandwich in hand making faces and talking to Rigby while she was in her Elmo walker and she rolled up to me and grabbed my sandwich right out of my hand. so i was thinking maybe she does not like solids (ceral or baby food) but she would prefer somethign more solid to actually chew. so i have these lovely contraptions that auntie avril gave us, that are kind of like a ring pop with a mesh bag attached to them. so i put a pieices of banana in the bag and gave to her. she was receptive, but not really excited. she did knaw on it for a little bit. i also threw it in the freezer for 5 mins or so to make it cold and firm and she seemed to like that as well. i also tried to mush some up and add it to her morning ceral and that was a flop she did not like that any better than regular ceral. so we will continute to try to get some solids in this baby.
