sleeping beauty

oh my, a mother could not ask for more...miss Rigby slept for almost 12 hours yesterday. i was lucky and got to leave the office early yesterday to run an errand for the boss yesterday which happened to be only a few miles from the house so i got home early. my amazing husband had dinner on the table when i walked in. so we sit down and have dinner as a family. we put Rigby in her high chair and pull her up to the table so she is sitting with us while we eat. she wanted to doze but we kept talking and playing with her to keep her up. after dinner and the clean up we played for a little bit but miss fussy britches was starting to cry unless she was held so we went ahead with our nightly routine although it was almost an hour early. Nightly routine includes a nice warm bath where we play with the bubbles and kick and splash, and then clean fresh jammies and a comb though her luscious locks. after that we had a big bottle which she could not keep her eyes open to finish. i held her for some time to make sure she was actually asleep before laying her down at 7:30p. this is amazing, but because daddy gets up so early he went to bed at about 8:30p. so i am awake with the doggies to watch my programs before i go to bed 9:30p. we are a bunch of night owls arn't we? ha. i checked on Rigby a few times throughout the night since she had not stirred even going as far to put my hand on her chest to make sure she was breathing she was so still and so dead to the world. she did not awake till about 7a this morning even then she did not start with a scream but a few kicks and arm twirls before mommy shows up with a bottle which is a happy site for a hungry baby.
