thrift stores

If you know me at all I have a recently (last 5 years) acquired addition of thrift stores. I wanted to hit them up while in Michigan and see what we can find, as they have raised the prices here lately I was hoping to really find a deal. Oh did I. I wish I had more room in my suitcase. Already sending a box back with grandma/pa. the Salvation Army’s were huge and so clean and organized. The Goodwill’s were all stocked by Target. I mean brand new stuff with tags still on from Target not just a few things, racks of them. It was nice. Rigby found the best deal of all. She found $2 on the floor. She was so very proud of it. She also found some bee antennae that she thought she needed. They were 99cents so I told her she could buy them with her money. I am not sure how it all played out, but somehow she paid for the $1.05 (99cent + tax) and still ended up with $2. I think the cashier gave her the 5 cents and another man gave her a dollar. So she was the winner all the way around. Just like mommy she could not wait to spend that money. We had planned to stop and get ice cream but we were all so full after Mexican that we ended up going to the grocery store and she got to help pay for the ice cream to take home. She was one happy camper.
