First day of Kindergarten

Oh my, oh my…where did the time go? My baby is now a Kindergartener. I cannot believe it. We have been in count down mode about all summer long and today she woke right up and said “today I go to McNab?” I answered her affirmatively and she scooted out to the living room and did a happy dance and sang a non-senseical song about McNab. She got to wear her new shoes, new clothes, new back pack, and carry a lunch box. She was full of pure joy. Hopefully that lasts all year long (don’t worry I am not holding my breath for it.) Daddy dropped her off today and helped her find her classroom and teacher. We missed orientation and I did not know how long the drop off would take 1st day of school and all. Her teacher’s name is Ms. Dilione and daddy says she is kinda “out there.” I asked if he meant like the teacher from Billy Madison, and he agreed. Nothing wrong with that, Rigby herself is a free spirit and I think a teacher that gets that and is kind of like that they will get along great. I cannot wait until I get to see her tonight and hear all about her day.
