angry art
Rigby loves to draw. She has now taken it to another level to express herself. She uses it as therapy to express what she may not be able to articulate. I encourage this as this helps her get it out. Yesterday she was mad at me as I took away her pool time. I had told the girls all day after mommy got done doing the 1000 chores on her to-do list that we would go for a dip in the pool. I meant it too, it was just going to be late afternoon when some of this was going to get accomplished. Then they started acting up and not listening and we warned MULTIPLE TIMES that if they did not listen that they were in jeopardy of losing pool time. Well it happened and she was upset and mad at me for it. So she promptly sat down and drew a picture of it. She drew a rainbow colored broken heart with what I thought was a crown above it, it turned out to be flames. She was MAD MAD MAD at me. Then on the other side there was a rainbow and four frown-y faces as she was SAD SAD SAD. I tried to explain that her actions have consequences but she was just not hearing that message just yet.
