massacre

a massacre, is what it looked like in the master bathroom this morning when i got out of the shower. Harley had one of his bloody nose episodes and it took maybe a 1/2 hour to get the blood to stop pouring from his nose. every time i would wipe it to try to help him it would make it worse and he would sneeze and intensify the mess. so i just put him in the shower and let him sneeze (reminder he cant see) and step in the blood and make and entire mess of the room. i did not know what else to do. luckily Rigby was sleeping in and i did not have to keep her from seeing the horror. she gets very upset when she sees that Harley is bleeding, cause she knows something is wrong. once it finally stopped pouring out of his nose i took him in the other bathroom and gave him a 1/2 bath. washed his face and paws then put him in the cage to dry off. he hates the cage, but i could not be positive that he was done with the bloody nose. by this time Rigby was up and very interested in what mommy was doing but lucky i was able to distract her with some dry cereal and tv. she still came to get me and check on what i was doing but for the most part i kept her out of the mess and seeing the mass amounts of blood aspirated all over the walls and floor. i had mopped the tile 2 times by the time daddy had gotten home and he said it did not look like i had done anything. that is how bad it is. he got out the bleach and soaked everything and did the final clean up. it was one hell of a way to start the morning. now my crotch/pelvis hurts. not sure if it from the bending and wiping/cleaning or if getting ready for #2 just happened to coincide with the mornings drama. ugh. i am at work 30 mins late and already had to take drugs to deal with my aches and pains. daddy is home dealing with a snotty dog (hopefully done bleeding) and a care-free child. best part is that Rigby is unfazed by it and to her everything was pretty normal.
