getting ready

we were in prep mode for Halloween last night. we tried on Rigby's costume and got out the bucket for her treats. We practiced how to say "trick or treat" she is pretty clear with "trick" but the rest is a muddled mush. she was LOVING it and it took some strategy on my part to get her out of costume and into the bath. i have had to hide the costume and the candy and keep telling her we will 'trick or treat' in a few days. i think she is really going to be into it this year. we will probably do only do the few neighbors that we are friendly with and then go to our friends Jim and Chris's. This will give her some candy but not too much and it will get us close to bed time. daddy might take her to some local events during the day to get more Halloween party scene. i hope they go so she can learn to love this holiday as much as I do, I only wish I could be there too.
