we are on day 3 of sinus meds and we have yet to see any change. Not even the snot/bloody nose factor has gone away. so i think the vets are all full of crap. he is still blind as a bat and walking into everything. he is only eating human food that we hand feed to him - no dry dog food. Drinking very little, spilling more by wondering into the bowl than actually consuming. the absolute worst is if you look at him he has become a mouth breather as his nose is always stuffed up. so it looks like he is almost smiling. so he looks happy, even though you know he cant be. he cant see, he has no idea where he is, and his world is changing day by day and not for the better. boo hoo. makes me all weepy just thinking about it. I love that dog, we both do even though he can be a pain in the tush he has been with us for over 12 human years, that is 84 dog years. He has lived a long life, and been pretty spoiled along the way. I hope if and when God has to take him it is painlessly and swiftly.
