tub time

so i decided last week that Rigby was getting to big for her infant/toddler tub. she does not have much room to move, and she likes to kick and splash so we end up with a complete mess on the dining room table and floor for our efforts. I did not want to fill up the whole tub for her because that would just be a waste of water and space and since she is not even really sitting full time on her own it was potential for hurt. so i did some research and found exactly what i wanted a little inflatable tub. it looks like one of the inflatables that you blow up and put on the back deck in the summer except for it is oblong and fits perfectly inside the actual bath tub. our nice neighbors gave us a gift card to babies'r'us for her baptism i decided to cash some of it in. so we got the new tub and a few more 8oz bottles and still have money left on the card, i plan to save it up and use for some of her Christmas presents. so now we take baths in the bathroom. she is still getting use to it, but she can splash as much as she wants and not make a mess. the only thing is this will be a storage nightmare when we have guests. right now i just leave in the tub, and prop it up against the back wall when i take a shower, but we will deal with that when we have to. so now the old tub is added to the stack of 'baby' stuff on the back porch that Rigby has grown out of. i really need to find a consignment shop to drop this stuff off at SOON.
