long time no post

i know it has been awhile since i wrote about Rigby, been super-d-duper swamped with work, and then preparing for our trip home, then unpacking and getting back into routine from vacation.

so we had a whirlwind trip home and everyone got to see/hold/kiss/hug on Rigby Jai. Friday we left flew to St Louis. Rigby did wonderful. She played for a little bit then had a bottle and slept the entire rest of the trip home. daddy and i had to take turns holding her so our arms did not go numb. then we went straight to great-grandma/pa's house to visit.

Saturday we got all prettied up and went and took family pix. then went home to a house full of Deckers and Scotts all come to see the youngest Scott's, Rigby and Ethan. I think the babies liked each other, but it is hard to really tell. Rigby is a month older and she is much more active now. she literally beat up on E. She liked to pull his ears and smack him in the face. not meaning to but her fine motor skills are not defined. she was just exploring and that is how she knows how to right now. Rigby did have a melt down late in the afternoon we missed the morning and afternoon naps it was a total melt down the people 3 blocks away could have heard her. we finally had to get in the car and drive around until she fell asleep this nap only lasted about 15 minues but after that everything seemed much better.

Sunday we got up really early in 38 degree weather. we were freezing to drive the 3 hours to Wateska. Rigby got baptized in my hometown church. we filled two pews with family come to see her. even uncle Cole flew in from Vegas to be there as a GREAT surprise. after the ceremony we went home and had an amazing cookout and more family and friends got to meet baby Rigby this time from the Robertson side of the family. as the afternoon wound down we opened presents. she got so many wonderful things. then unfortunately we had to load up in the car and drive back to the other side of the state because we were flying back out of St Louis the next day.

Monday was fine the trip home took most of the day, Rigby was a little fussier on this flight home but still not anything that was that bothersome.

now we are just trying to get back into our regular pattern/ritual. thank you to all who came out and met my baby and most of all both sets of grandparents for everything they do!!!
