tummy sleeper
Rigby has turned into a tummy sleeper in the past week. i cant blame her, i sleep on my tummy and to me it is 100% more comfortable than sleeping on my back, but she makes me nervous. she likes to not only sleep on her tummy, but also on her face. so her forehead and nose are on the mattress. this makes me super nervous because they think they have linked SIDS to carbon dioxide. that is why i always have the ceiling fan running in her room, to keep the air circulating. if she is face down there is no where for the air to circulate, i know the books say that once she can roll front to back and back to front you don't really need to worry about then if they want to be tummy sleepers, but this face down sleeping is the part i don't like. so i turn her over and of course that inevitably wakes her up and then sometimes we are up for a hour or longer because she is not sleepy now. ugh. i think i get less sleep now than when she was a newborn. i have GOT to break these habits she has gotten into.
