thankful

mommy had a rough day/night yesterday so when i got home late yesterday i was happy to see that Rigby was still awake. she had just finished her last big bottle and it was time for her to be asleep but that was not the case. we did a quick bath and i laid her down. she was a little fussy. so i went in her room and turned on the tv and rocked her for an hour or so. sometime i think it is too quite for her so the tv helps with background noise even though i am trying hard not to let her watch tv.

but after the loss of a friend you contemplate your own mortality and give thanks for all the little things in life and for the amazing miracle that was given to me in the form of Rigby. i held her extra tight and could have rocked her for hours and hours last night just happy to hold my bundle of joy. thank you God for my baby.
