golden shower

you all have seen on tv or have had happen in person the little boy and a fountain of pee. i though that just does not happen with little girls. i was wrong. it has happened before, but it is always a shocks me when it happens, and what can you do at that point but laugh. changing diapers at 3a after a feeding and one pantie off making the switch-a-roo before the 2nd pantie is on all the sudden we are both wet and warm and then the cleaning process ensues. first check to see if the jammies were hit, no they are still dry so we are good there. so go ahead and latch on a new clean dry pantie and get her back to bed. now is the just deal with the aftermath, the soaked bedding. i sop up as much as i can with diaper rags then i just lay on the other side of the bed to go back to sleep. 3a is no time to try to deal with laundry. we can wash bedding in the morning. so we both drift of to sleep with the faint waft of pee lingering.
